Accommodation ladders and shore gangways
We offer accommodation ladders and gangways suitable for safe and easy ship to shore access.
Our accommodation ladders with fixed curved steps feature simple robust construction that meet standard ISO 5488 and can be delivered with any class certificate upon customer’s request.
Basic parameters:
- Ladder clear width: 600 mm
- Length range: 3,5 m – 15 m
- Working angle: 20⁰ – 55⁰
Accommodation ladders can be delivered with davit fitted with the ISO 7364 electric winch, switchboard and push button box for ladder operation. The push-out spring set, davit and ladder deck stanchions set as well as removable stanchions for upper platform are included in standard scope of supply.
Design details:
- Accommodation ladders and shore gangways are made of seawater resistant aluminium alloy of higher tensile strength.
- Anti-slip surface of ladder steps, upper and lower platform.
- Hand rails made of aluminium tube and polypropylene rope installed at 1/3 and 2/3 height.
- All fasteners are stainless steel. Connections between steel and aluminium are well insulated with plastic washers and sleeves protecting against electrochemical corrosion.
- Turntable upper platform is made of galvanised steel plate of adequate strength providing the whole construction is rigid and stable.
- The inclination angle of lower platform can be adjusted in several positions.
- Accommodation ladder davit and deck stanchions are made of galvanised mild steel.
- Ladder is fitted with side and quay rollers.
- Hooks for safety net installation are provided. Safety net can be included in supply on request.
We offer also the aluminium alloy ship-to-shore gangways made acc. ISO 7061 of lengths ranging from 2 m up to 12 m.
In order to ensure quick delivery we stock in our warehouse gangways from 2 m up to 5 m length.
The gangways hold the BV class certificate.
